32nd Mississippi on 6/4/1863. According to Federal prisoner of war records, he was captured near Greencastle,
PA on 7/5/1863 following the battle of Gettysburg. He was taken to Fort Delaware and sent to Baltimore, MD
on 10/10/1863. He must have been released at some point, because the last Confederate record shows him
deceased at Meridian, MS in hospital on 1/26/1864 (or 1/27/1864). Cause not given. No other records.
